I gave one of my best friends an annual subscription to Allure magazine. She used to buy it every month anyway, so I asked her if she wanted it for subscription for a year as Christmas gift. And i think it's a great gift because it's something she wanted, and every month, she was reminded that I had given this gift to her. After the year ended, she continued to subscribe to it, just out of her own pocket.
If you know someone will like the magazine, it's a good gift. Be warned that it usually takes at least 3 months to process a new subscription.
I think is a great present. I gave my little sister 3 magazine subscriptions last Xmas and she loved it. I gave her Cosmo Girl, Teen Vogue and Seventeen.
