I can get Japanese magazines on a website, but I buy my Chinese mags in Chinatown in San Francisco. Ask at Chinatown bookstores and newsstands in your area.
My suggestion would be to go to the website of the magazines you want. See if they have a subscription area, if not, send an email to the editor and ask them how you'd do it.
Thats what I did to start my subscription for German magazines.
