You should make it so that other people can contribute to your site and localize the information they put out. Then you could tag on the name of the city at the end of the name. I'll use "The Grapevine" as an example, although any synonym for "gossip" in the thesaurus (especially one that's weird) would be cool. People in Chicago could have their own network called "The Grapevine Chicago" and those in San Francisco would have "The Grapevine San Francisco." People love spreading rumors about people they know. It's way more scandalous.
