The cover is selected months in advance. Perfect timing with the new cd being put out this month. Kid Rock has started out a rapper and blended being a cross over artist into country southern rock. He has 3 platinum records under his belt. As time goes on I think he will carry on concert traditions with the likes of Parrotheads, Deadheads and others.
Dr. Hook meant that being on the cover of rolling stone you have finally made it in the rock world.
