Should magazines have to state that an airbrush has been used?!

Question: i see charlotte church out in cardiff and she looks incredibly rough compared to the regular women in cardiff-bad skin and big ears which aren't obvious from magazines. i am not saying looks are everything-most defintely not, it's always personality and being loving that counts. i just think it's very unfair that women are out there-especially young girls, comparing themselves to false computer generated images. there should maybe be some statement like " this image is not representative of real life and has benn computer generated"

I think that is a brilliant idea! It would really help the teen girls who love reading fashion magazines (like me!!) tell the different from what is reality and what isn't. I think that is a great idea!
There wouldnt be much point! They would have to put it on very picture..................we all know that they are airbrushed
yes, thats a great idea. 9 out of 10 women are unhappy with the way they look. if they didn't have to live up to the ideal implanted in mens minds by ego feeding magazines perhaps they could truly be happy with themselves
I agree, especially in Playboy (which I might add only read it for the articles)
I definately agree with what your saying with young girls comparing themselves to the unrealistic computer generated images.

I think it would be an idea to have that on small print but i think the secrets out now. I take it for granted, any image that i see in a magazine i assume that its been airbrushed because usually it is and sometimes its very obvious. Any1 that is suceptible to these pictures probably will still be even with the small print.
yep.....but i think Posh spice should just be "Airbrushed" out for ever ..the pic of her in the " Daily Star" today was like something out of a horror book...Spots .!!! ewww ...anyone tell her about soap and water..???? , iv seen less grease on a kebab..!!...nuff said.

ps ..CSVO.....same mate ..did you see the size of them "articles" on page 10 last month ....kin hell..!!!
If that was the case then all magazines would be saying that on every page!!!

They are so misleading, real people do not look like that.
Magazines should state that the pictures have been airbrushed or simply stop airbrushing and show the celebs the way they Really are, it is totally unfair on all thos kiddies out there that make themselves ill by trying to copy they're idols, the media has a lot to answer fo and should be held accountable for their actions maybe then reality would shine through
