I am ten and I am wondering if the book gossip girls is appropriate for a ten-yearold

your 10! omg! no it's not read another series of books, but now we've all said that you probably gonna go on and read them right? it is innapropriate for a ten year-old no- wait 'til you're about 12 or 13 i think it is, because i read them when i was like 13 and it surprised me how adult is was.
i think it says like "sex and the city for the younger generation" or something, and thats a good description. they are good books tho, if u do read them :] Not trying to be rude, but if you're ten you shouldn't even be on this website. Gossip Girl is for teenagers, mainly 14 and up. It explores sex, drugs, teen relationships, etc. Definitely not something a ten year old would hold interest in or even understand. no. i wouldn't let her/him (hopefully her) see that. it has a lot of mature stuff that a 10 year old shouldn't be exposed to... Uhh I've seen the show and I've read a little and I dont think it will be appropiate for you cuz it has like stuff about ya know.. and stuff...
But if u like those kinds of books you should read Clique series, they're awesome lol!
They might be innappropiate but not really. Of course it's not appropriate! I'm against censorship, but I would NEVER let my ten year old cousin read Gossip Girl. You won't even understand most of it. Try Artemis Fowl or Harry Potter or something... my sister watches the show and she's ten I would say yes...I see the show and I don't think some stuff are suitable for such a young girl. Then again, girls today know way too much. It depends...but I still say NO. Most inappropriate! yes it is...there is a lot of sexual innuendos and teen issues that come with the teen years No it is not. 10 year olds need to experience life, not be sheltered.
