Royal Mail ......Junk Mail!?

I understand that there is a number to phone to stop this sort of mail being delivered through the letter box. Can any one help with this please;.does anyone have the number to phone? Thank you.

The royal mail will help you prevent door drops. However if you are looking to stop companies mailing you from bought lists then I would suggest visiting http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/mpsr/...

The mailing preference service is a list of people who do not wish to be contacted by companies "targetted communications" (what us Direct Marketeers like to call it). It is best practice to use this file to screen your mailing lists.

Alternatively as and when companies post something to you can opt out of any further communication - that company is then legally obligied to never contact you again without your concent as per the Data Protection Laws see http://www.ico.gov.uk/ for more info.
