i have an essay to write on how stereotypes are used in magazine ads. it can be about race, age, gender, and and anything else. what i need is to find ads that might include stereotypes but im having trouble finding any examples of it on the internet. does anyone know where i can possibly find some?

I would go to the library and look through as many different types of magazines as you can. Look in magazines that are aimed at different socio-economic groups, different genders, and different races. This should give you a a few good ideas to go on. The ones I could think about the most are the cell phone ads with teenagers in them, as the teens are always talking too long and self-centered and selfish. I agree that it's the norm, but a generalization to say the least. Good luck!
