Why is it that the hottest people never make People's most beautiful person list!

Why is it that the hottest people never make People's most beautiful person list?

Somes of the names (and I'm picking on the guys) that have made the list:

James Blunt - #5 2006: ugly. If I had his face I'd be afraid to go out in public.
Johnnie Depp -#1; only guy I've seen who looks better w/ makeup than without.
Orlando Bloom - 2005; looks better as an elf.
Patrick Dempsey; 2005; very very average.

What I'm getting at is that there are thousands of guys (including myself) out there who destroy these 'heart throbs' in the looks department.

But none of use even come close to making the list each year. Each of these guys lacks charactistics of a really good looking guy. They're not particularly muscular. They don't have great skin. They don't have great hair. They're just plain average, despite the money and cosmologists at their assistance.

Why doesn't People Magazine and society recognize these guys for what they are. Average. And start recognizing the really good looking guys out there?

As to the women mentioned as not 'special'. I completely agree. These girls should never have made the list.

it's because all these guys are hot at the moment. next year, they'll have a new list of average looking fools on.
