I live 1 hr away from L.A, and im 23yrs old and im interested in modeling or on a t.v shows, comercials?

Does anyone know how to contact an agency or how can i start? im totally clueless. Please help. also even advertising agency.

You'll need some basic headshots at the very least. There are many photo services in LA that will do these for you. You'll then need them printed up. If you have any prior modeling experience, then put together a book of your shots. Use only the best ones, even if there are only 5 or 6.

Call modeling agencies ahead of time and tell them you're a new model and would like to set up an appointment.

For commercial and TV work, you don't necessarily need an agent, but it helps. Go to as many open calls as you can; audition like crazy and don't give up. Get as much experience as you can, especially at first. You'll need a clip reel (video of your work) to get bigger and better jobs and to help in getting an agent.

In both instances, be careful about model/acting agents. Research teh agency and its reputation before signing anyting. NEVER give them any money up front for any reason. If you're asked for any, it's a scam.
