why aren't there models from Somalia, in the indusrty.
Answers:
In the modeling industry their is only a certain amount of space for black girls. Their is even less for Asians. and even less for Asian/black men. I'm not sure why it is. I think its because their is soo many white people with all different looks and its hard to find a black/Asian person that fits the "mold" of a model but is still distinctive. Their is a lot of great black women in the industry like Alek Wex (Sudan) Ajuma and Yasmine Warsame...who might actually be from Somalia. If you watch the shows you can usually see them around every season through out the world. I do find that Italy doesn't use a lot of "ethnic" models though. Their is no real answer to give you....but their is a lot of successful black women in the industry u just have to look.
