How do I find a list of brand new published books ?
I would like to find a source or sources of brand new published books in the U.S.A and overseas of any subject and genre. Periodicals as well.
Past and present years will be appreciated as well.

In the US, that list is known as the Books In Print database (for books). It is run by RR Bowker, which operates the ISBN Agency in this country. All new, generally available, books should have an ISBN, and should therefore be included.
The equivalent registration for periodicals is the ISSN. I'm not sure if that agency issues a database, but I suspect that they do.
Similar things should be available in other countries. You should be able to get access to these databases through any large reference library. I wouldn't try to do it on my own, as they tend to be pricey.
