Are you talking about the old true crime magazines that my mother used to read, back in the 50's? If so, try ebay.
I'm pretty sure the U.S. doesn't publish any kind of true crime mag anymore. We already have violent content in our daily newspapers, tv, movies, internet, etc. Too much gruesome crap already.

I notice that there are lots of them in the U.K. though.
