Why is one an "article" (several pages) and one is a "short story!
Question:
Why is one an "article" (several pages) and one is a "short story" (several pages) in a magazine? Difference?
Answers:
Articles are presumed to be fact based and as such are assumed to be truthful. Short stories are not always fact based and are presumed to be works of fiction. The thing about an article is that you can be sued for liable if the facts in that article are not verified. A short story on the other hand is less likely to be taken seriously and less likely to create a law suit. The key is in judging fact from opinion in either piece.
