How do I go about becoming a photojournalist for Kerrang magazine?!

Question:

How do I go about becoming a photojournalist for Kerrang magazine?

I'll be attending school for photography and once I graduate, I wanted to maybe become a photojournalist, possibly for Kerrang magazine. That's my goal atleast. It may or may not take a few years, and I know it depends on my experience and skill but right now my question is simply how would I apply for a position with them? I don't live in the UK right now (when I graduate I'll be moving). I've searched all over the web, google, looked on yahoo answers, even went the Kerrang's offifical site for some information but found nothing.

Answers:

Where are you from.Send your resume and portfolio to Mark Weiss he's in Jersey.Or try to work for a local rock magazine. Also try to work with some of your local rock bands.Just do live work on slides only. That's what Kerrang wants.I was in BURRN in the 1990's it was killer.Oh the name of the band was EXXPLOER look them up.Also build up connections.I did work work with Rex Tripp Eisen when he was in The Right (Mid 90's band) pre Dope(I always thought he was gay.).Also I did work Zakk Wylde's teacher(Dave Dipetro).
It also takes a lot of patience for live work .Standing waiting for the right moment to catch a great photo,is a pain in the a**.
I've met Mark Weiss(A real a**h*le).Frank White(Circus) a really nice guy.By far the best rock photographer was Ross Halfin, his style was awesome.

You have great goal ...go for it!!
