How do I get companies to advertise on my magazine?!

How do I get companies to advertise on my magazine?

I am starting a magazine but havent yet started delivering how do i get companies to advertise in it evn though it is not yet famous?

I am not an expert, but maybe you can e-mail, call or write to companies of all kinds and ask if they would like to advertise any products in your magazine. If I were a company manager, I wopuld be delighted if a magazine called me ang asked for and ads they like to put in. But maybe when your magazine becomes famous and people talk about it, letters, phone calls and emails woiuld be pouring in.
