Unsubscribing to a magazine?!

Question:

Unsubscribing to a magazine?

Okay, I was an idiot and I accidentally subscribed to CosmoGirl. (I filled out a form with my information for something else and a link about CosmoGirl was at the bottom. I clicked, only wanting details, but it automatically subscribed me with the info I just sent.)

Anyway, I just got the bill today but I don't want the magazines. They haven't sent me any issues yet, so if I write "cancel" on the bill in red and send it back, will they charge me for anything? The bill says my first issue is on it's way, so if they did send it already, will I have to pay for that single issue? Will there be any other complications? Thanks in advance.

Answers:

You can write cancel on the bill and send it back and the issues will stop. You will not be under any obligation going forward and you do not have to pay for the issue you recieved. This might take a while.

For faster service - go to www.cosmogirl.com anc click on Customer Service in the upper left corner. Then click on "other questions". Scroll down to Cancel Your Subscription (about half way down) and click on it. You probably want to then click on the "all other reasons" button and then fill in the info. Make sure you type in your information exactly as it looks on your bill so they match it back properly.

You can always check back in a week or 2 using the "see your subscription status" button to make sure the cancel went through.

Good luck.
