Can I sue a magazine company for not sending me a magazine?

I ordered 2 magazine subscribtions for christmas and I still havn't gotten them. THey sent me an email saying that they should come in 4-8 weeks and the 8th week is already starting up. I just want to know if I can sue them.

I was actually being a bit dramatic about the sueing thing but i mean half of a year isnt that a little too long for a magazine to arrive...

i'm sure it was a busy time. if it doesn't come, it's as easy as cancelling your subscription and getting your money back. you can go ahead and sue, but it may be more costly and doesnt ensure that you will win. there definitely has to be something that protects the magazines from problems like this.
