Is Rolling Stone Magazine named after the Rolling Stones?!

Is Rolling Stone Magazine named after the Rolling Stones?

I always assumed it was, since there aren't any other things called "rolling stone" and I think they both started in the sixties. But my wife said she wasn't sure about a connection.

I believe that they both picked up their name from the old quotation about "A rolling stone gathers no moss."
