Where would I find a list of serious record collectors?!

Question:

Where would I find a list of serious record collectors?

I have a record collection of approximately 300 individual records. They include 16 2/3, 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM. Can't determine the age of many but know they range between early 1900s thru 1970s. The music genres are Broadway Musicals, big band, classical, early rock and roll, jazz and country western. I have assembled a detailed catalog I can provide that includes record lable, record sizes & RPMs, artist and music. May also help to know that the original owner handled these with the utmost care. Have attempted to listen to most of them the past couple of months to determine playing condition and found only 2 out of +200 that skip or are "scratchy"

I'm not looking to "win the sweepstakes" by selling them and don't know what the collection is worth, but know there is some value to them and would like a fair price.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Answers:

I have recently found that collecting music is my passion! May be I can help Little. I have 3000 45s but may can give you a general idea. Record prices are listed at Gemm.com and will give you an idea what they are selling for. Early rock and roll can be high priced if you have the right stuff. I would research alittle. I am always looking to buy records or research them if you want to send me a sample listing. I need the label, number artist and size. There are also alot of resources on goldminemag.com Good Luck, Bobbie
