Do magazines have their own models?!

Do magazines have their own models?

Okay so this girl i know says she models for some magazine company in Switzerland. Im pretty sure that magazines contact modeling agencies when they need models, but maybe im wrong?
If i am and you know of any magazines that do have their own models i would appreciate if you could send me a website to them.

The only reason i ask that is because this girl also says shes best friends with hillary duff, goes skiing with paris hilton, knows jessie mccartney really well, and all these other lame things that are obv. lies (this girl is 15!!)

in most cases, especially with exclusive magazines, the company has a contract with certain agencies. Therefore when they are in need of models, they simply call up the agency and ask them to send qualified models. Personally i dont really know any actual websites, but my baby cousins are models for baby phat and they are really just associated with the agency that works in conjuction with baby phat. sorry i cant help u any further.
