Have you ever been tricked into joining a "readers club" over the phone?

I'm still getting all these unwanted magazines & have been for a few months, I paid over $200. in the past, then tried to cancel it, they wouldn't cancel, & they're trying to bill me 80 bucks a week, as of now they say I owe them 800+ bucks & won't cancel untill I pay it, & I refuse to pay another dime, what would you do?

I worked for a company called americas choice reader service for like two days. they tried to train me to pretend I was calling from a lawyers office and to tell the people who owe money their "case" was being put on my desk for review. Very shady company. (I quit and got unemployment because of the shadyness) So what im saying is... if its the same company, dont pay - they're full of (poo)
