How can I get employed at a magazine company?
Does anyone have experience working for a magazine? I like to write and think it would be fun to go out and try experiments and then write about them. How can I get a job maybe writing for a magazine like playboy or cosmo?

Here's my advice: send a rocking cover letter which showcases your knowledge of the magazine and a kick @ss resume into the HR department of any magazine you're interested in. Before doing this, make sure you've researched the industry. Magazine publishing a very competitive industry. It's a hard gig to land. There are just so many jobs and hundreds of people that want them. You have to be serious.
After sending in your resume and cover, it may be worthwhile to contact the hiring editor of the magazine. After you do your research, you'll know who that is. :)
The key is patience and follow up.
