Answers:
The definition of a short story is a literary genre. In contemporary usage, the term short story most often refers to a work of fiction no longer than 20,000 words and no shorter than 1,000. These do not qualify as short stories for two reasons.
1. They are nowhere near 1,000 words.
2. Their is nothing literary about them.
