So many people think that Playboy is a disgusting and vulgar magazine, but I have to disagree. I am a woman, and I believe that Playboy is empowering to women. It shows that we love our body, and I don't believe that Playboy is pornography. I mean they don't touch themsleves innapropriatlely, and there are actual articles and interviews, not just pictures. And there are themes to the pictures. It's not just some randomly naked girl in front of the camera. Think of it this way: I'm sure people would find it ok if some high fashion magazine published a nude picture and called it art, which it is, so why is playboy any different?? I would really appreciate your opinion on the subject.

I'm a guy and I think it's degrading. How many of the article writers are women? Or are they all just flaunting themselves for the men who read it? I can guarantee that probably isn't a guy in this world who will look at the pictures of nude women and think something like, "Wow. What an amazing person! She's really propelling her sex forward!" More than likely, it's going to be some dirty, unflattering thought. And "art" is becoming a loose term. Yes, a nude female CAN be art, but when? It depends on the pose, but you'll notice that all the Classical art that features nudes never show the woman with her legs spread showing her vagina. Nowadays, that's becoming a fine line....
