Answers:

Magazine and book sales are notorious for sending out bills when you owe nothing. They do this because most people pay there bills without checking further. It is unreal how many people just pay what ever is in front of them without questioning it.
If this magazine was totally free and you can prove it, NO NOT PAY. Either call them or write them a letter (brief and to the point) with your signature that you feel this is inappropriate bill and you will not pay. If you made a mistake, tell them to stop your subscription and send no more. If you are under 18 yrs of age, tell them so and that you do not pay the bills in your household this will get them off your back fast. If you are a minor or tell them you are a minor they will take action.
These companies prey on the vunerable that is how they can make extra money and boost up their numbers of subscriptions. It is not the $8.00 that you would pay that makes them rich it is the advertising dollars. They get companies to advertise by having a huge list of subscribers. And now you are one of them.

Good Luck
