What has jessica biel done to be on the cover of every stupid magazine out there? is she bribing the mags?

my guess is she and her reps know that in order to get movie parts she needs to be "out there" being photographed everywhere she goes (always looking camera-ready) as this ups her "hotness factor". so sad, now that the show is gone she desperately needs a job. it's not like she's the first one to do this but at least celebrities used to fake going out with somebody to get the free publicity (hello jessica simpson!).

it's not hatin', people. or jealousy for that matter. i think women should be recognized for their true achievements, not their beauty. i thought we had come a long way; apparently, we haven't.

Lets be honest about the state of affairs in Hollywood. Beauty and overall aesthetic appeal trump substantive acting. Sex appeal supersedes talent. Since Jessica Biel has more than her fair share of sexiness, given her perfectly proportioned, almost idealized frame, athletic build, and exotic facial features, it is no wonder she is using her most pronounced asset to gain exposure.

I don’t see anything wrong in what she is doing, she is just a savvy businesswoman taking advantage of the puerile environment she is placed into. Now, if there is one place where you should levy your indignation, it is with the American society who is so superficial that they would rather see her scantly clad body in a B rated film, over an Oscar deserving drama. Remember, Hollywood is a business like any other business. It works on supply and demand. If the people don’t demand titillation, Hollywood would not make, as a litmus test for an actress’s success, the exploitation of an actress’s physique. We drive the baseness in Hollywood, not the actresses.
