Question: A triky question!?!?!?!?!?!?
3 persons went to buy a pen for a birthday party!.They went to a shop for buying that pen!.That time the shop-keeper was not there!.A boy in his shop was there that time!.They liked a pen and asked its price!.He was doughtful and told it costs Rs!.45!.Each person gave Rs!.15 to make it Rs!.45!.So thay gave that Rs!.45 and went of!.Later the shop-keeper came and told that it cost only Rs!.40!.So he told to give that Rs!.5 when he saw them!.One day he saw them!.So,as they are 3 members he gave Re!.1 to each and kept Rs!.2 in his pocket!.So if we reduce Re!.1 from Rs!.15 they spent Rs!.14 for the birthday party!.So if we add

There was no extra rupee!! =) There were 45 rupees to start with!. The boy gave away 3 of them, and kept two of them!. Instead of adding the two rupees to the 42 dollars, you subtract them to get the number of dollars that the shop needed!. The shop got their 40 rupees and the boy got to keep his two rupees!.!.!.!.!.
