Question: Hotel Room Discount Riddle!?
Three college friends from Penn State go on a road trip, and decide to share a room at a hotel!. The room rate is $90, so they each chip in $30!.
After the friends leave, the manager asks the clerk if anybody checked in!. The clerk tells him that three guys from Penn State just checked in!. The manager informs the clerk that Penn State alumn get a $10 discount on rooms, and tells the clerk to take the guys $10!.
The clerk, seeing an opportunity, takes ten $1 bills out of the register and decides he will give the Penn Staters $6 and he will pocket the other $4!. He takes them the money, and they are happy to receive the discount, unaware that the clerk also made out on the deal!. The three friends each take $2 and all is well!.
The question is: The room originally cost $90, and each friend paid $30!. After the rebate each friend paid $28, and the clerk ha $4!. 3 times $28 is $84!. $84 plus $4 is $88!. Where did the other $2 go!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because your adding and subtracting in the wrong order, the goal is not back to the 90 it is to the 80 which would be the price after the 10 discount!. each guy payed only 28 which would be 84!.!.!.the other four shouldve been theirs which would be 80!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
