Distressed about muppet joke directed at me. Please try to explain it?!

Question: Distressed about muppet joke directed at me!. Please try to explain it!?
At work someone offered me a Krispy Kreme donut and I politely refused!. They said "Are you sure!? They're muppet friendly" and the way they said I thought they might have been having a go at me!. I have long thin arms and average height and weight but small shoulders - I'm not sure if that is relevant or not!. Can someone please explain what they think he meant/how why it was meant to be funny!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
It's not an insult, it's a friendly term, if it's good enough for Kermit the Frog, then it's good enough for you!Www@Enter-QA@Com

your best bet is to ask them what they mean by what they said, there is nothing worse that feeling like people are laughing at your expense, maybe there is 1 person who was there that you could pull to one side and ask, if they know that you are offended they might think next time, good luckWww@Enter-QA@Com

In Scotland calling someone a muppet means they're stupid and ungainly,i don't know where your from but i would call that an insult!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Its just an expression (not offensive) not meaning you look like a muppetWww@Enter-QA@Com
