Oh, I know him quite well!. We have been friends for quite some time now!. Funny you ask!
We met at a Walmart!. I was reading a baking book, and the muffin man caught my eye with his apron!. I turned to see him fully: the gray mustache, the rosy cheeks, the round belly, the cheerful disposition!. I asked him if the blueberry muffins should be baked with fresh or frozen blueberries, and he said fresh hands-down!. Then we shook hands, and I noticed his name, embroidered on his apron: "The Muffin Man!." I gasped, and said, "You live on Drury land, don't you!?" Then he laughed, and explained that I was one of the few people to know such a thing!. He gave me his card, and we called each other up ever so often to exchange muffin tips!.
Soon we had afternoon tea & muffin days on Tuesdays at 2:00!. We only have them once a month during the school year due to our schedules, but we exchange emails quite frequently!.
