the half apple actually turns into one whole apple in mid air and Flanders is pleased!.

Flanders splits his apple into two halves and throws them both over to Homer's house and two whole apples appear!.

This continues for a long time!.
They both started out with nothing, except Homer's half apple he initially threw over the fence!.
