What is the term comedians use when they tell a joke early on in their stand up, and later on refer back to that joke, making it a bigger, more elaborate joke!? i thought it was a hook or something like that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It is the same as songs, you know the verse, the course/hook!.
The hook is the verse that is the most repetitive
