I heard a great brain teaser the other day and it was so interesting, that I want to hear some more!. I have heard the younger aged ones and they are nice, but, I like the college type, phylosophy type mathmatical type!. Whatever!. What can you come up with!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

First of all, let me tell you that the math of this should be simple!. 30-5=25+3+2=30 That is obviously easy!. But the way it was done, is so odd, well, here it is!.
3 people go to a hotel!. The hotel room is $30!. So, they each pay $10!. $10 a piece equals $30!. The owner of the Hotel comes by and says that the room is changed to $25!. So, he hands the cashier $5 and says to give it back to the people in the room!. So, on the way to the room, the cashier realizes that he has no idea how to split $5 between 3 people!. So, he sticks $2 in his pocket and gives the other $3 to the people in the room!. Now, by doing this, it made it to where each person had payed $9 instead of $10!. 9 x 3 = 27!. Add the $2 the cashier put in his pocket!. That equals $29!. So, where did the other dollar go!? That is the question!. Now, the problem is in the way it was done!. Everybody was given whole dollars and it added up this way!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hmm in answer to sierra, if you started both timers at the same time, and boiled the egg immediatly after the 3 minute timer went off, when the 5 minute timer went off, you would have boiled it exactly 2 minutes!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
