The name 'Wendy' wasn't made up for Peter Pan - it was first used as a girl's name in the story, but was rarely used as a boy's name beforehand :)
And actually, the words 'silver' 'orange' and 'purple' all have words that rhyme with them!. Others don't!. Eg 'hurple', meaning to walk lamely, rhymes with purple!.
