Do you think political correctness has killed British humour?!

Question: Do you think political correctness has killed British humour!?
Benny Hill, Alf Garnett, Bernard Manning, Kenny Everette and so many more, the best of British humour and totally unacceptable by todays standards!.

When did the British lose their ability to laugh at ourselves and see the humour in our own prejudice!.

We joked about rich Yanks and precise Krauts more in recognition of the advantages they had over us than as real criticism!. We took the view, if we can't beat someone at something then laugh at them for it!.

Benny Hill treat sexy underwear as fun, not porn!.

Now we see to be too scared to laugh for fear of offending someone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
You are so right we are not allowed to say anything in case it is racist, we cannot tell jokes about anybody or ourselves without it deemed not politically correct!. I bet you even get some "Do gooder" explaining why to your question!.
