Okay, here it is:
There are four men, and they are all wearing hats that are either black or white!. Two of the hats are black, and two are white!.
there is a wall separating them!. On one side of the wall, three of the men are buried up to their necks in dirt in a straight line, one behind the other (facing the wall)!. They can only see the head in front of them!. On the other side of the wall, the other man is facing the wall!. They can NOT see over it!.
They cannot talk or communicate in ANY way!.
The riddle is, one of the men must say the color of the hat he is wearing ( he CANNOT see it, only the ones in front of him)!. All he can say is either 'black' or 'white'!. If one of them does not say something within ten minutes, they will all die!. If the one who talks gets it wrong, they all die!. If they talk about anything they will all die!. the question is, WHO should be the one to speak, and what color hat is he wearing!?(it has to be right)!. Middle guy saves the day!.
Last guy clearly has the most information at his hands, but seeing one white and one black hat doesn't give him any certainty about his own hat's colour!. Would first guy and and middle guy both have been wearing the same colour, last guy would have been able to provide the answer!.
But middle guy is one clever guy and he knows that if last guy doesn't answer, it means that first guy is wearing a different colour than him!. Because first guy is wearing white, middle guy knows he's wearing black!.
Note that the guy on the other side of the wall is redundant: the puzzle could have included only first guy, middle guy and last guy!. That way, the hats would have been three, with two hats of the same unspecified colour, and one other hat of the opposite colour!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nr!.1 sees a white and a black hat in front of him!. He cannot tell what hat he is wearing, so he keeps his mouth shut!. If nr!.1 saw two black hats, he would know that he was wearing a white hat!. Because nr!.1 does not say anything nr!.2 knows that nr!.1 must see a black and a white hat!. Nr!.2 sees a black hat and therefor he knows that he himself wears a white hat!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The middle man buried up to his neck knows what colour hat he is wearing!.
The man behind him obviously can't tell - he could if the two in front of him were the same colour - so they must be different colours!. The middle man then knows his own hat is a different colour to the one in front of him!. Problem solved!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
