I don't know if I would say it was a SIN, but very rude, inconsiderate, and disrespectful!. Which in turn could be considered sinful!.
Each person has the right to worship and praise God how they wish and this woman is enjoying a song that is not only beautiful, but very endearing, to laugh and make fun of her for this, whether she can see you are not is wrong in many different ways!. This woman obviously has joy in her heart for the love that God has shown her and it breaks my heart to think that ANYONE would make fun of her for this!.
It sounds like you are feeling guilty for doing this, otherwise you wouldn't have posted this question, it's hurtful to her, disrespectful to God, and it's obvious that it's causing you grief as well!.
I praise this older woman that is not ashamed to show her true feelings toward God and the JOY HE HAS BROUGHT TO HER!. Respect her as an elder, a person, and a child of GOD!.
