There is a guy on a train...
They are going threw a tunnel...
When they come out of the tunnle...
He is dead!
And yes, he was alive when he went threw!
Yes, It was suiside...

A lot of people hold their breath when they go through tunnels. It's some kind of superstition. Maybe he suffocated.
I had a teacher who gave us these kinds of riddles all the time. We spent a whole class on one once and still didnt get it. lol...good times in grade 6.
A lot of people here don't seem to get this type of riddle. The answer is always very simple. The idea of him being on top of the train is good except that it says they come out of the tunnel. I'm assuming he's still on the train when it comes out the other end. Plus by holding his breath he kills himself, thus commiting suicide. By getting knocked off the top of the train he didnt really commit suicide, he was just stupid.

my GUESS is that he was on top of the train....and then the tunnel would have killed him (get it?)
I'm guessing...but i'd say the train is his train of thought and the tunnel is the "light at the end of the tunnel" thing

uhh idk?? maybe he didnt commit suiceide.. someone killed him?? maybe he was dying as he went into the train?.. maybe he ahd a heart attack.. or he drank pills or something?
Threw himself into the furnace that they have on trains? Or cut his own head off since you are alive for fifteen seconds after you do it. Just guesses, though.

Maybe he was the train engineer/driver and he crashed the train on purpose. Or he was a terrorist and blew up the train when it was going Through the tunnel. So on either one, when they go in the tunnel they are alive and when they are carried out with the wreckage they are dead.

i dont know , i hate it when teachers give question like that i think they do that to drive the kids crazy trying to think of the answer their might be an answer for it but i dont know either good luck with that riddle

It seems to me that your leaving something out.
So a guy is on a train, and while they are in the tunnel he blows his brains out with a gun, or drinks fast-acting poison, or something quick like that, and when the train leaves the tunnel, he is dead. How is that a riddle???
