Why is rabbit a magician on welcome to pooh corner?!

I don't know for sure since they never mentioned it in the books or other TV shows and movies. I guess they were making the connection between a magician pulling a rabbit out of his hat with Rabbit. I did like that show a lot, though. I even remember a couple of videos they showed us in school starring the Welcome to Pooh Corner characters. I think one was about not talking to strangers and the other was about being safe on the school bus.
Because sorcery is satanic and Disney is the DEVIL. (just kidding)
im guessing its because magicians always pull rabbits out of their hats and so they decided to use a rabbit
or maybe its just totally random
because ribbits r usually used in that hat trick and they had a rabbit already so they thought y not use a rabbit.
