the egg, there were animals laying eggs long before the chicken. and what we know as the chicken eventually mutated from an earlier animal that laid eggs as well. evolution has been proven a whole lot more than creationism.

If you belive in creation the chicken came first god would have made it that way in hole. If you belive in evolution the egg because the creture that laid the egg wouldn't have been the chicken as we know it today would have been slightly different.
