Graphite Poisoning?!
Question: ok so,last Friday me and my friend Chelsea were playing and i had a pencil in my hand.She had her hand out and i accidentally stabbed her while trying to get up.So she starts freaking out that she had lead poisoning when i told her that pencils are made of graphite.Then she says, "i'm gonna sue the pants off of your family."It was a little hard and a gray circle around the sore but i got stabbed in the leg and arm by a pencil when i was 6 and 1 year ago and I'm 12 and an honor roll student.She's also 12 and it was a #2 unison pencil.Please give me a serious answer.Can it harm her because it didn't harm me.

No, there's no such thing as graphite poisoning. Both me and my sister have gotten stabbed with a pencil and both of us are perfectly fine. The gray will go away after awhile.
no the 'lead' is made of carbon dust, she will be fine.
Do you think they would allow poisonous pencils at school?

Your friend will be alright, except for the actual penetration of the lead, that was probably painful. Girls stop hassling each other. No real harm done if it was just the tip of the pencil that went in. RELAX.
