Is this the best advice to a newly married couple?!

Question: At my granddaughter's wedding, the DJ polled the guests to see who had been married longest. It turned out to be my husband and I. The DJ asked us, "What advice would you give to the newly-married couple?"

I said, "The three most important words in a marriage are, 'You're probably right.'"

Everyone then looked at my husband. He said, "She's probably right."

ha ha ha, must get him to remember that, pmsl

Lol good advice =]

you are right because agreement is the best way to avoid fighting

At my cousin's wedding it was
"Once a king, always a king, once a queen, always a queen, but once a knight is enough!"

The answer to every question or request should be "yes, dear". remember your partner is your friend, not your property; marriage shouldn't change the way you think about the person.

Yes yes and yes.........

Sounds good. I was only married for 19 years as my wife died. But, I would say that 3 important words should be:

Learn how to argue! (Oh that is four)

Do not be selfish (oops four again)

Respect (darn one word)

But there are three things... there are a lot more..

Keep going with your marriage, it stinks to be alone and when you get older there aren't a lot of good choices out there for starting over again with some else. Not impossible but very hard.

yes i agree lol

hahaha very good.

hahahaha spousal diplomacy
