Anytime a student can't recite the alphabet, it's not a laughing matter. Considering how many words contain the letter "p" it's really not funny at all. Sounds like a student like that keeps copies of the alphabet in his pants. What's going to happen when he gets pulled over by the police and keeps his driver's license in his pants? Not going to look very good. I do not find your joke humorous, but it does highlight a number of shortcomings in our nation's educational system.
