You are just standing in your garden or any other favourite spot of yours with clouds above you! The earth being round and the sea covering one third of the earth's surface, you are always standing over water and the clouds is the water above you yet you are dry!!!
Your standing on a plank of wood over your fish pond with a dirty black cloud above you or could it be scots mist.
Are you in a submarine, conducting a research survey? Out in the sea. Nowhere near land.
