I Was Robbed! But It Was Funny Huh?!
Question: I went to Tijuana Mexico to see another country and got ripped off! True story. I left San Diego just to say I had been someplace. I went to Tijuana and got off the bus in front of a cab stand. I asked the driver where the hotel something or other was and he said hop in amigo and off we went. He drove this way and that way for about 5 minutes and finally we stopped at the hotel I was staying in. I thanked him (tipped him $5) and said goodbye. He drove away as I went into the hotel. I got into my room and laid down on the bed and just before I fell asleep (I was really tired that day) I got up and looked out the window and immediately saw the bus station right across the street where I took the cab! I was stunned! I was pissed off! And I am incredibly grateful for a great story I could share with my family and friends! To this very day I still remember Mexico where I had a great time and met a lot of nice friends who I stay in contact with. What do you think? Thanks!

Had the same thing happen in San Francisco-- when we passed the same building the third time, I told the cabbie " I have changed my mind- take me to the nearest Police Station" He went in a straight line for the Hotel, and said he "got lost" and did not charge.
