AMEN!! And then, let's take it a bit further and say that people are IN the jokes section because they are looking for JOKES. Then they get offended at the varieties of DIFFERENT people's INDIVIDUAL senses of humor.There is a novel little device people, it is called a cursor!!!! Place it on the little X in the corner of your screen and close the window if it is something you do not want to read or respond to. Otherwise quit crying and get on with it! It is ridiculous.

    it really just depends on the nature of your jokes
    I think it's ridiculous.... I posted a question asking people if they knew any jokes and my question was deleted for chatting... I have no clue why the section is there if your question just gets deleted anyway.
    Remove it? -- No
    Change the REPORTING funtion -- yes. They need to include more options as to what type of "report it is"

    Maybe you modify the format of your postings and try to make a question out of the joke.
    Or try to leave the punchline and ask 'how does this joke ends'?
    You are right that yahoo has a jokes section but don't forget that its 'Yahoo Answers' and not a blog. You need to follow the question-answer format.
