Question: My mum sent him once, when she was a bit under the weather, off he went, armed with a carefully-numbered list of eight items she wrote out for him.

Yep. He went off with a list too. When he came back he had 100 bread rolls. My mum said why did you buy them? He said they were on the list.

"You tw*t", my mum replied, "It said loo rolls!"

Tee hee. My dad did once that I remember. It was the 8 yr old me who was filling the trolley with glee cos it was the first time Id been in a supermarket and didnt know you paid at the end!
