let's be technical, there were 2 chickens because you need to have one male and one female chicken to have an egg that will actually hatch.
When god made heaven and earth he put the animals there they didn't say anything about an egg. LOL Those were my sister words, I use to think about that when the chickens on The Easter bunny is coming to town. Sorry to offend any1 who don't believe in god to each his own....
