Elderly Christian Widow and the terrified robber joke?!
Question: One night the police receive a call about a foiled house robbery of an elderly lady's home. When the officers enter the old lady's house, they are shooked to see the would be robber frozen in fear at the back door. The robber is arrested and pale as a sheet. The head officer is amazed and asks the old lady what happened. "Well.." the old lady replies, "I came home this evening from the weekly Church Bingo night when I discovered the glass from the front door had been broken, so I entered in the house very carefully to see what had happened while I was gone, and when I entered the kitchen I saw the robber about to exit the back door, so I yelled the first Bible verse that came to mind, Acts 2:38" The Officer thanked the woman for her time and told her to be more careful the next time, and leave the dangerous stuff to the police. The would be robber being escorted to the car, responds "A bible verse? I swore I heard her say she had an axe and 2 .38's!"
